Saint's Dragon WIP

I decided to flip the dragon over and put him on a bigger 11" x 14" piece of Bristol board. There's a closer view of the scale detail in the corner. A complicated mix of golden yellows and bronze made up the copper look.

I really have no clue what to do with the head just yet. It really should tie in with the rest of the body but I just haven't figured out how yet.

We were all bored. Saint dared me to draw the rest of his dragon's body with just the line art tattooed on the top of his wrist as a guide.

Once I got the head sketched, the body will eventually wrap all the way up his arm, puncture through the shoulder and come out Saint's back. I need to figure out the scales on the sides and bottom but the urge to start coloring first was too great so here we go...
